Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. How Billing Works

Signal Labs uses Whop (whop.com) as our merchant of record. When you subscribe, Whop:

• Collects and processes your payment using its own checkout, which discloses pricing, billing frequency, and auto-renewal terms before you confirm.
• Charges your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Sends you a receipt and confirmation email for each charge.
• Manages cancellations and refunds through your Whop account.

Signal Labs does not see, store, or process your payment-card information. Billing disputes are first routed through Whop's process; see Section 5 below.

2. Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions are recurring and auto-renewing. Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing period, your subscription will renew automatically at the then-current price. Whop's checkout discloses your billing frequency, the renewal date, and the price at the time you subscribe. You will receive a receipt for each renewal at your account email.

3. Free Trials

If a free-trial offer is presented, the following applies:

• You are not charged during the trial period.
• At the end of the trial, your payment method is automatically charged at the standard subscription rate disclosed at sign-up.
• To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial expires. The trial-end date is shown at checkout and in your confirmation email.
• Trials are limited to one per user. Creating multiple accounts to claim multiple trials is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination.

4. How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation is as easy as the original sign-up:

1. Self-service: Log into your Whop dashboard, locate your Signal Labs subscription, and click "Cancel Subscription."
2. By email: Send a cancellation request to signallabs247@gmail.com from the email address on file. Include your account email and the subscription you want canceled. We will confirm cancellation within two (2) business days.

Once canceled, your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until that date. No future charges will be made.

5. Refund Eligibility

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods.

However, we will consider refunds in the following limited circumstances:

• First-charge dispute (consumer-friendly window). If you cancel within seventy-two (72) hours of your first paid charge (i.e., the first charge after a free trial, or the first charge if no trial), and you have not materially used the Service during that window, you may request a full refund of that first charge. Subsequent renewals are not eligible.
• Duplicate or erroneous charge. Full refund of the duplicate.
• Billing error attributable to Signal Labs or Whop. Full refund of the erroneous amount.
• Service unavailability. If the Service is materially unavailable for an extended period due to our fault, we may offer pro-rata credit or refund at our discretion.
• Where required by applicable law. Including any non-waivable consumer-protection rights under North Carolina or your home-state law.

Refund requests under this Section should be sent to signallabs247@gmail.com with a brief description of the issue. Approved refunds are processed by Whop and typically appear in your account within five to ten (5–10) business days, depending on your bank.

6. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us at signallabs247@gmail.com. Most disputes are resolved faster directly. Initiating a chargeback for a charge that was authorized and delivered as described may result in your account being suspended and you being barred from future subscriptions.

7. Cancellation by Signal Labs

We may suspend or terminate your subscription, with or without notice, for violation of our Terms of Service. If we terminate for cause, no refund is owed. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any prepaid, unused portion of your subscription on a pro-rata basis.

8. Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing on at least thirty (30) days' notice before the change applies to your next renewal. Notice will be sent to your account email. You may cancel before the change takes effect to avoid the new price.

9. North Carolina Notice

This Policy is intended to comply with North Carolina General Statute § 75-41 (Automatic Renewal Disclosures) and analogous state laws. If you are a North Carolina resident and believe your statutory rights have not been honored, please email signallabs247@gmail.com. You may also contact the North Carolina Department of Justice — Consumer Protection Division at ncdoj.gov/file-a-complaint.
