The Signal Labs DFS Optimizer is a decision-support software tool. It applies mathematical optimization (integer linear programming) to projections, salaries, and the constraints you choose to construct lineups for daily fantasy sports contests.
Daily fantasy contests are recognized in most U.S. jurisdictions as games of skill, where success is determined primarily by knowledge of sports, statistical analysis, and lineup construction. However, all DFS contests involve substantial elements of statistical variance and competitive opposition from other entrants.
Skill does not eliminate variance. Past performance of the optimizer — ours, yours, or any user's — does not guarantee, predict, or imply future results. Lineups that scored well historically may not score well today; lineups optimized with identical inputs may cash one night and lose the next.
DFS legality varies by state and is subject to change. The states listed below have historically restricted, limited, or prohibited paid-entry daily fantasy sports contests. You are solely responsible for confirming the legal status of DFS in your jurisdiction before entering any paid contest.
This list is not exhaustive and may not reflect the most recent legal status. Consult your state gaming commission or the operator's terms for authoritative guidance. Signal Labs does not block access by IP or location; it is your responsibility to comply with local law.
You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to access Signal Labs and use the DFS Optimizer. Individual DFS operators set their own age minimums (typically 18+ or 21+ depending on state law); you must independently meet each operator's age requirement to enter contests on their platform.
Signal Labs is not affiliated with DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo Sports, and similar operators, PrizePicks, or any other DFS operator. We are not their agent, partner, reseller, or representative. References to operators, contest formats, salary structures, and lineup constraints are descriptive only and do not imply any relationship.
We use publicly available salary information and contest format details to generate compatible lineup outputs. Operators may change their formats at any time; we make no representation that our outputs will remain compatible.
The optimizer uses publicly available player statistics, game schedules, and DFS salary feeds. Team names, player names, league names, and operator names referenced in our content remain the property of their respective owners. Use of these names is descriptive and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
By using the DFS Optimizer, you agree that:
The optimizer is provided "AS IS". Projections, ownership estimates, and contest-field assumptions are generated by statistical models and third-party feeds that may be incomplete, stale, or in error. Slate availability, late scratches, weather changes, and last-minute lineup announcements can occur after the optimizer has been run; you are responsible for verifying player status and lineup viability before submitting any entry to a DFS operator.
We do not warrant that the optimizer will be available without interruption, error-free, or that any specific lineup will be feasible, legal under operator rules, or successful. Our liability for any optimizer-related claim is limited as set forth in the Terms of Service, Section 13 (Limitation of Liability).

Some operators offer "pick'em" or prop-style contests that are classified differently from traditional salary-cap DFS in many states and are restricted or prohibited in additional jurisdictions. The Signal Labs optimizer is designed for traditional salary-cap DFS. Use of optimizer outputs in pick'em-style contests is at your own risk and may not produce optimal results for that format.
